  • What are your business hours?

    We have two locations to serve you!

    Our Eastside location (located near Mall 205) offers a full showroom of our rental products as well as event merchandise and tool rentals.

  • When should I place my reservation?

    Our busy season is from June to September and during the holiday season. You are welcome to place your reservation as far in advance as you like. If your event is taking place during a busy season it is recommended to call at least six months in advance for the best availability. Keep in mind when reserving a tent we do require a non-refundable reservation fee to be paid at the time the reservation is made.

  • Can I place my order online?

    In order to insure order accuracy, we ask that you please call us to place your order at (503) 292-8875.

  • Can I change my order?

    Yes. We do recommend reserving the highest possible quantity of rental items that you may need since during the busy season it can be difficult to add items. We ask that all changes to your order are completed 48 hours prior to will call or delivery. There are no penalties for lowering quantities before that time.

  • Do you offer delivery or set up services?

    We do offer delivery and pick up as well as set up and take down services. Please call (503) 292-8875 for a quote.

  • Do I need to return my rentals clean?

    No, but we do ask that all kitchen items are returned rinsed and free of food,and placed back in their original containers. When renting linens, we ask that they are not returned in plastic bags if they are damp since mildew may occur. Barbecues must be cool and free of briquettes. We charge a cleaning fee for all barbecues and concession equipment.

  • Do you offer event planning?

    At The Party Place, we pride ourselves on being the Portland area’s largest event rental supplier. While our knowledgeable staff is familiar with many aspects of event planning and coordination, we do not offer those services. We will happily offer referrals to some of the top event planners in the area, most of whom use us for their event rental needs.

  • Why do I have to pay a non-refundable reservation fee when reserving a tent?

    Tents are a labor intensive high demand item. During our peak season we are often booked to capacity and thusly require reservation fees to insure availability to those clients who require a tent for their event. We also offer additional services with our tent rentals such as complimentary site inspections (within the Portland metro area) and party-cad diagrams.

  • Can a relative, caterer or my wedding planner make changes to my order?

    The ONLY person allowed to review or make changes to any information or rental products on your order is the person named on the reservation. If you would like to allow other people to make changes to your order such as a caterer or relative please let your salesperson know so they can put the information in our system. We cannot accept any changes to orders from individuals not listed.
